DRAWINGS
I fell in love with drawing immediately upon graduating from SAIC. Once I no longer had shop and facility access that I had relied on for three years, I found myself shrinking my practice from big sculptures and prints to smaller drawings. I draw in intense bursts, often cranking out over thirty drawings in the span of a couple hours. I usually define some kind of limiting factor, like only using pencil, a fountain pen, and red chalk or only using wax, something to focus my brain and hands into making a loose series. Since finishing up with school, I have made well over 300 drawings of various sizes and media. It is taking me a while to document and digitize all of them, but I will be updating the growing lists of series here on this page, and uploading them as I go.
